Silverwater. An island-city in Lake Superior, Michigan, America is a proud utopia with dignity and silence. People walk on sidewalks, cars, motorcycles and trucks occupy the streets and roads. Up in the sky something else is happening. A plane with one engine on fire is descending rapidly to the city! Behind the tail, a small bogey flies past it, over the wings toward the nose of the aircraft. It was the heroine known as Destiny. She put her back against the steel while looking down to the city. With great strenght, she lifts the plane up before it could hit a sky scraper. She puts her back into it and manages to steer the aircraft to the water. She succeeds in doing so. Upon landing the plane into the water with her going underwater and falls under the plane while it moves over the water and comes to a stop. Rescue choppers are flying from almost every corner of the island. People are gathering around the beach. A few meters away from the plane, the water gurgels a bit and Destiny flies out of the water into the sky. She heads toward the plane and pushes it gently toward the beach. Police cars, fire trucks and ambulances are heading toward the plane over the sand. Destiny then reveals herself, floating in the sky above the plane receiving huge cheers from the people who were out on the beach. A police car stops, two officers step out and wave toward Destiny. She floats toward them and lands. The journalists rush toward her but police are holding them back. One officer takes his hat off.
Destiny: 'Officer Grant.'
Grant: 'When all is thought to be lost, you swoop in and save it.'
Destiny: 'You think slowing and steering a plane with your bare hands is easy? I'm just glad I saw it in time. What caused the engine to catch fire?'
Grant: 'Sabotage. We caught someone at the airport whose face wasn't on the schedule of the technicians today. He said he working under the orders from someone. Paid him very much to do it. He doesn't know who he worked for.'
Destiny: 'Who is he?'
Back in the city at the Silverwater Police Department where the perpetrator is sitting in a room with a mirror on the wall where Grant and Destiny look at him from the otherside of the mirror. He sits cuffed on a chair to a table, quiet. An officer hands Destiny a paper file.
'Ray Leania. Mercernary for hire. Was stationed in the former Yugoslavia during the Yugoslav Wars and fought on the side of Croatia as a volunteer. After Yugoslavia fell apart, he vanished. He became a hitman and a sadist.'
Grant: 'He still keeps saying that he doesn't know who he worked for.'
Destiny: 'Nevertheless, lock him up when declared guilty. Which he pretty much is anyway.'
Grant: 'Where are you going?'
At a quiet home in the thick of night, Destiny lands behind the garage, opens the door and walks in. Inside the house at the table, a woman with long black with white streaks looks in the paper while a man with a beard and bald head is making dinner. They were Glenn and Catherine Caloway.
Glenn: 'Great photo of our angel?'
Catherine: 'When I look at this and have to talk like a pro... the angle couldn't be better.'
Glenn: 'You packed everything yet?'
Catherine: 'Everything. And that is fifth time you asked me that.'
Glenn: 'Don't wanna forget anything. Here we go. Steak a la Frank.'
Glenn sets down a pan with three steaks with jus sizzling in it. The door opens and Hayley, Destiny's normal alter ego, walks and sits down.
Hayley: 'Looks yummy Dad.'
Glenn: 'Only the best for a real heroine.'
And he kisses her on the head.
Catherine: 'I once thought that one day you would get hurt. But after seeing you in action so many times against impossible odds, that thought is gone. Nothing can hurt you.'
Hayley: 'It's not easy as it looks Mom. But I prefer to talk about something that has less Destiny in it.
Glenn sits down and cuts his steak.
Glenn: 'You got everything packed?
Hayley looks at her mother.
Hayley: 'I got 6 and you...'
Hayley: 'You got everything?'
As Hayley swallows a piece of steak.
Glenn: 'I'm set, honest. Tomorrow we're going back to Spoonerville, my old home town.'
Hayley: 'Wish we were there now. Then I could see Ariel again. And Goofy too. I love them.'
