Threat

Draconosis, home world of the Dragonite's, a humanoid species capable of transforming into dragons at will. One of them in particular, Jedi Master Acaedra Ocanari has experienced much in her life. She found the most uncommon love in a clone trooper named Fives. Despite the odds and several rules against it, they wed and have two children although one was adopted, their names are Maximus(Max by friends)and Nefertiti. At the palace owned by the Ocanari Dynasty, Acaedra looks on as her two children play in the backyard with a Jedi practice sphere. She is most happy with this life. Its everything she dreamed of. Two arms wrap around her

Fives: Enjoying the view?
Acaedra: A lot. The best part is I can watch them for a few years like this
Fives: But like many, they will grow. And its our job to make sure their growing-up is with happiness, compassion and love
Acaedra: What if one is Force-sensitive?
Fives: Will that stop you?
Acaedra: I don't know. Odds of me training my own child is small because since I am their mother, I'm extremely attached to them
Fives: Well, I probably shouldn't say this now, but I hope they go down fighting. Believing in everything we taught them or will teach them
Acaedra: It does sound grim that way. But no way I'm doing grim now

Then a signal is heard at the front gate, a visitor. Acaedra looks at a screen and sees Ahsoka. Happily she opens the gate for Ahsoka. Ahsoka has been in the palace so therefore knows her way around. She reaches the backyard and terrace

Acaedra: Glad you're here Ahsoka
Ahsoka: I wouldn't miss it. How are the little tykes, giving you trouble?
Fives: Nothing we can't handle. Besides crying at night
Ahsoka giggles: Ouch
Acaedra: Calculated risk*she say with a smile*
Ahsoka: How old are they now?
Fives: 5 and 9
Ahsoka: Lets see if they are a match for a Jedi like me
Acaedra: I'll alert the medical bay

All three laugh. Ahsoka goes to the kids. Ahsoka uses the Force to summon the sphere to her. The kids look at her and run towards her with big smiles

Max: Ahsoka!
Ahsoka: Hey Max. Playing catch-the-sphere?
Max: Yeah
Ahsoka: Hello. I am a friend of your mother. You look just like her
Nefertiti: You know mommy?
Ahsoka: Yes I do
Max: She's a bit shy around strangers
Ahsoka: I'm not one to you Nefertiti. Watch

Ahsoka uses the Force to levitate some broken off tree branches around them. Nefertiti touches one of the branches that floats before her. It spins around in circles. Nefertiti smiles and hits another. Max does the same and both children laugh. But unknown to them all, a mysterious figure with a sniper laser rifle is aiming at the palace. The laser targeting is shown on Fives! Ahsoka senses something in the Force

Ahsoka: Get down!

BLAST!

Fives is hit in the chest. Ahsoka draws her light sabers and defends Max and Nefertiti, deflecting the blasts. Acaedra is beside herself as sees her husband terribly wounded

Acaedra: I need a medic!

But she realized Ahsoka is too busy defending her children from the mysterious sniper. Acaedra lifts Fives over her shoulder and tries to get him inside

Acaedra: Nefertiti! Max! Inside now! Hurry!

The two children, already scared by the laser blasts run towards their mother and injured father.

Max: Dad! Is he...?
Acaedra: He'll make it
Nefertiti: Daddy!

Nefertiti cries while hiding behind her mother's wings. Acaedra is in shock. Her husband deeply injured, her children threatened, her friend facing an unknown enemy alone. How did it come to this?
